How-To Ethics Committee Held Second Plenary Session

The first offline plenary meeting of How-To Ethics Committee for the year 2023 was held in our company on April 13, with the participation of 8 members of Ethics Committee and 4 technicians of How-To Cosmetic Clinical Efficacy Laboratory.

The meeting was chaired by Effie, the secretary of the ethics committee, and Roy Yi, the general manager of How-To, firstly welcomed the members and expressed his heartfelt gratitude to them for their support to their work on the ethics review. After that, Effie, the secretary, reported and reviewed the completed ethical review projects in the past six months with the participants.

During the meeting, Professor Liu Wei, the chairperson, made a summary of the work of the Ethics Committee and shared his valuable experience. At the same time, Professor Liu Wei also led a GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) learning and shared past classic cases. The members and guests had a lively discussion on the existing issues, which helped the How-To Cosmetic Clinical Efficacy Technical Team to solve a series of confusions and doubts.

How-To Ethics Committee was established in September 2022, aiming at regulating the application of our scientific research and related technologies involving human beings, maintaining human dignity, protecting human life and health, respecting, and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of subjects, providing basic safeguards for project research, and helping companies conduct research in a more scientific and standardized way.
